Delete your Liquor Staq account
This page explains how Liquor Staq users can delete their app account and associated personal data while shop business records are retained for legal, accounting, excise, tax, audit, and operational requirements.
Delete from the app
Open Liquor Staq, sign in to the account you want to delete, then go to Settings > Delete account. Confirm the warning and type DELETE when prompted. The app will delete your personal account data and sign you out.
Email request
If you cannot access the app, send an email to contact@optimindz.in with the subject "Liquor Staq Account Deletion Request". Include your registered phone number or email address, shop name, role, and details needed to verify the account.
Data deleted or deactivated
We delete or deactivate Firebase Authentication credentials, user profile data, device/session records, notification/account links, profile images, and account-specific shop request files where applicable. Shop membership and owner links are anonymized or deactivated so business records can remain intact.
Data retained
Liquor Staq is used for regulated liquor shop operations. Shop, inventory, invoice, challan, payment, ledger, audit, report, tax, excise, subscription, and compliance records may be retained where required or reasonably necessary. These retained shop records are not deleted when an individual user deletes their account.
Processing time
In-app deletion is processed immediately in normal conditions. Email requests are reviewed after identity verification, and we aim to respond within a reasonable time. Backup, audit, legal, and compliance retention may continue where required.
Verification
We may verify identity, account ownership, shop authority, subscription status, and compliance obligations before processing requests submitted outside the app.
